I was thrilled when a friend of mine, Bella, asked me to join her for a casual maternity photo shoot of Tiffany and Jevier. At first I was kinda nervous since both of them are actually quite famous! And to be honest, I'm not familiar with Indonesian celebrities. So, I didn't really know what kind of expectation they have and how to behave in front of them (on top of that, I was an hour late due to horror traffic). Luckily, the awkwardness crumbled in a split second as we introduced ourselves to each other. They are very friendly, charming, humble, and of course photogenic!

Nany + Vincent
Nany and Vincent's engagement shooting took place in Frankfurt just one day after Srishti and Rashu's (well, we rent a fisheye lens for the whole weekend, so we have to make use of it as much as possible). The shooting started earlier in order to capture the empty street in Taunusanlage area and avoid any car accident. Luckily, we were able to stroll around the main station and Alte Oper, which we couldn't manage the day earlier. Hence, even though we had a similar route and location, we were still able to get many different perspective and angle of Frankfurt.
Today, they tie the knot in Bad Homburg. Being thousand miles away, I'm so sad not being able to be there to celebrate their big day.
Happy Wedding Nany + Vincent!
May the years ahead be filled with lasting joy.

Srishti + Rashu
Srishti is one of my closest friends in university. Not long after graduation, she told me that she's getting married in November. At the same time, I also had to tell her about leaving Germany at the end of August. So, we decided to have a little FUN project during my last summer in Frankfurt, just a few weeks before leaving.
We spent the whole Saturday walking around Frankfurt. Some friends also joined us during the shooting as a makeup artist/stylist or an assistant. We also rent a fish eye lens and had fun seeing the world through it (though I still cannot decide whether I should buy it or not). Overall, we had a great time and I smiled a lot as I did the post processing while remembering funny little things.
Their engagement and wedding ceremony will be held in New Delhi this weekend. It'll be my first time visiting India (and attending Indian wedding) and India is on my bucket list for a very long time (although it'll be a very short visit). I'm looking forward to be there and capture their special moment.

Irene + Marco
It's been years since we've known Irene and Marco. We were so excited as we received their wedding save-the-date and looked forward for their big day. It was a beautiful rustic wedding at Brathänchenfarm, a simple yet charming venue in Steinau.
The wedding had intimate and relaxed atmosphere, filled with friendly guests, home made cakes, delicious food, good wine and beer, cool band, and heaps of fun. We celebrated, ate, drank, played creative wedding games, gave the joyful bride and groom a lot of surprises, laughed, and danced until past midnight. These added more reasons why we love German wedding so much.
Jessica and Arnold
Remember Jess? Yes, she's officially my sister-in-law since last September. My brother and she are now living (happily ever after, hopefully) in Burghausen, a small town in Bavaria, not so far from the border of Austria. The reason of our winter getaways was also to visit them and their new hometown.
To tell the truth, the trip wasn't meant to be a photo-session, but I just couldn't resist capturing their pictures. It was quite challenging, because my brother always has weird facial expression in front of any camera, even scolding and begging him weren't enough to cover his "weakness". Being quick and lucky were also required to get good pictures of him. For now, I was quite lucky, though I really should practice more to increase my speed for the next opportunities.

White Space, Black Typo, and The Couple
As I passed Willy-Brandt-Platz U-Bahn station in Frankfurt, suddenly ideas popped up in my mind and made me had an urge to take pictures of it. What makes the location so special is: the white space and the huge black typography. The giant words on the empty walls really turned the boring place into an interesting one.
After days of longing, at last I managed to have a short photo session yesterday. I also felt so thankful, that Nany and Vincent agreed to be the models. All photos are in black and white, not only because it suited the location theme, but also gave dramatic looks as well.
